Like the Mercedes GLC43, the GV70 offers the base luxury features missing in the Porsche Macan, even if its available powertrains aren’t quite as peppy as either of these competitors. Buyers have the option of either a base 2.5-liter four-cylinder or a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6. The base four offers an impressive 300-horsepower, but the V6, offered exclusively on the G70 Sport model, develops 375 horses and propels the SUV to 60 mph in just 4.9 seconds.
