Route 73 in
California
charges drivers depending on a few factors:
  • Which on-ramp you use to enter the highway
  • Which off-ramp you use to exit the highway
  • When you’re traveling
  • Whether you use FasTrak, pay online, or pay via The Toll Roads app
Route 73 begins at I-5 in the south and ends with I-405 in the north. Driving many of the routes between these points—either northbound or southbound—will cost you $9 if you pay online, with cash, or via The Toll Roads app.
The following rates will apply if you use a FasTrak account:
  • 12 am to 6:59 am: $6.89
  • 7 am to 7:59 am: $8.24
  • 8 am to 8:59 am: $9.00
  • 9 am to 9:59 am: $8.24
  • 10 am to 11:59 pm: $6.89
  • Weekends: $6.60
Certain shorter routes will cost you less money, depending on the entrance and exit point. In some cases, no toll is charged.
For exact rates, you can use Orange County’s toll roads calculator online.
