Kathleen Flear is an expert insurance writer and editor who heads up Jerry’s editorial team as Director of Content. Kathleen’s mission is to create best-in-class articles on insurance, loans, and maintenance that can empower car owners to manage their finances, improve their driving, and make smart decisions related to their vehicle. Prior to joining Jerry in 2021, Kathleen served as managing editor for a team of SEO content marketing professionals at Article-Writing.co and worked as a freelance writer and editor for a range of digital publications, including Chicago Literati magazine and Golden Words.

As Senior Director of Auto Finance at Jerry, Lynda Vittes is a seasoned financial executive with over 25 years of experience in banking, FinTech, and consumer leading. Her goal is to transform car loans and auto refinance from sources of frustration to frictionless, money-saving experiences for ordinary drivers. Prior to joining Jerry in 2021, Lynda was vice president and head of auto finance product and performance marketing at LendingClub, where she launched the auto refinance product and expanded the market significantly. Previously, she held numerous executive positions at Wells Fargo, overseeing consumer lending, retail banking, and consumer deposits.

Ed Chung is chief financial officer for Jerry. Ed is responsible for all the company’s financial functions, including accounting, audit, treasury, corporate finance and investor relations. He brings more than 20 years of deep financial expertise to support Jerry’s exponential growth. A proven financial leader and advisor, Ed most recently was co-founder and co-chief investment officer of View Ridge Capital Management, an event-driven hedge fund. Previously, Ed’s experience included roles as managing director at institutional asset management firm Farallon Capital Management, and as an analyst at Warburg Pincus, Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, and UBS. As Jerry’s Chief Financial Officer, Ed appeared on a panel on “Innovations in Data about People” at the 2023 conference of the Consumer Technology Association (CES).

Elin Nozewski is Jerry’s Vice President of Communications. A public relations professional with 20 years of experience in the automotive and financial industries, Elin leads development of the company’s strategic communications and supports growth for the fast-growing car ownership super app through external and internal channels. Before joining the Jerry team in 2021, Elin was senior vice president and partner at FleishmanHillard, a global communications firm. She co-led the brand marketing team and served clients in the automotive and travel industries along with consumer technology, logistics, and retail. Previously, Elin held roles at public relations firms Airfoil Group and Golin. Over the course of her career, Elin’s clients have included Enterprise Holdings, eBay, PayPal, Nintendo of America, Fossil Group, UPS, and many others.

Henry Hoenig previously worked as an economics editor for Bloomberg News and a senior news editor for The Wall Street Journal. His data journalism at Jerry has been featured in outlets including CBS News, Yahoo! Finance, FOX Business, Business Insider, Bankrate, The Motley Fool, AutoWeek, and Money.com.

As the Chief Operating Officer at Jerry, John Spottiswood leads multiple teams, including marketing, product development, partnerships, administration and customer experience. His mission is to expand Jerry’s goal of helping drivers manage car ownership costs into new categories of automotive service and fintech. Before joining Jerry as Chief Operating Officer in 2019, John acquired 25 years of deep experience in building operations teams and generating growth and revenue at technology startups including Match, LendingClub, DemandTec, QuinStreet, and Inflection, where he held executive leadership positions. Recently, John was featured as a keynote speaker at the 2022 Insurance Innovators USA event and as a speaker at InsureTech Connect’s ICT Vegas 2022 conference.

Lina Zhang is Vice President of Operations at Jerry. She helped to found Jerry in order to take the confusion and mystery expenses out of car ownership and help drivers achieve financial success. Leading a global team responsible for operations, talent acquisition, legal, and content, Lina has been a key contributor to Jerry’s rapid growth. Prior to Jerry, Lina and her Jerry co-founders, Art Agrawal and Musawir Shah, created YourMechanic, the largest on-demand car repair services provider. In one year, Lina built and scaled YourMechanic operations from just five markets to more than 50. Before founding YourMechanic, Lina served as an intellectual property attorney at Morrison & Foerster LLP and a postdoctoral biomedical researcher at Stanford University. Lina is a member of the State Bar of California, and a licensed property and casualty insurance broker in all 50 states and Washington, D.C.
