Each of the Macan’s four trims drives and handles beautifully—the SUV “satisfies its driver first and fulfills other missions second,” according to Car and Driver.

Even the base model comes with a turbocharged four-cylinder engine and all-wheel drive. There are also impressive technical and driver-assistance features, like a 10.9-inch infotainment touchscreen, 10-speaker sound system, and ParkAssist, which recognizes suitable parking spaces and takes over steering when parking at the touch of a button.

The “S” trim, which starts at just under $70,000, is the one to look out for if you’re after speed and power. You’re not likely shopping for a Porsche on a budget, anyway. The

The most fuel-efficient Porsche is the relatively new electric Taycan, but it hardly competes with the brand’s SUVs in terms of size and space.

S E-Hybrid is seriously powerful, with a twin-turbo V8 engine and an 134-horsepower electric motor working in tandem. Together, they put out a shocking 670 horsepower and can reach upwards of 80mph running only on the electric motor. It has an estimated fuel efficiency of 42 MPGe.

The electric motor can charge completely in about two and a half hours and the car has an all-electric range of about 14 miles. This, of course, is in addition to the Cayenne’s other luxurious features including an optional massage function in the front seats and Bose surround sound.

The Cayenne’s driver-assistance features are something right out of the future:
