2013 Audi S4 0-60 time

According to tests conducted by MotorTrend, the 2013 Audi S4 can zip from zero to 60 mph in just 4.2 seconds. MotorTrend similarly reported that the S4 completed a quarter-mile sprint in just 13 seconds at 105.6 mph, as well as reaching 100 mph in approximately 12.4 seconds
Keep in mind, however, that the 4.2-second 0 to 60 time was recorded with a 2013 S4 paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and Audi’s Quattro all-wheel drive. When paired with a six-speed manual transmission, the S4 falls off in terms of acceleration, going from zero to 60 mph in 4.9 seconds

Which Audi S4 engine is the fastest?

While plenty of compact executive cars have multiple powertrain engines, the 2013 Audi S4 isn’t one of them.
The S4 has only one engine: a 3.0-liter turbocharged V-6 engine that produces 349 horsepower and 396 pound-feet of torque. That being said, the model does offer the choice between a manual and an automatic transmission—though the automatic version is considerably better in terms of acceleration.

Can it beat the competition?

The 2013 Audi S4 does fairly well when compared to its biggest competitors in terms of speed. That being said, many of the executive sedans offer multiple powertrain options that edge out of the S4 on the racetrack.
Here are the 0-60 times of some of the S4’s other competitors in the compact executive sedan class:
Looking at those numbers, the S4 does a pretty great job of staying on par or even exceeding the results of its competitors.
That being said, the only model on our list that outperforms the S4—the 2015 BMW M4—is also noticeably more expensive. A used 2013 Audi S4, according to Kelley Blue Book, sells for an average of $19,374
Meanwhile, KBB reports that a used 2015 BMW M4 will cost you closer to $38,789. Speaking strictly in terms of acceleration, that’s an additional $20,000 to shave 0.2 seconds off your 0-60 time.
