What are some cheap car insurance companies for first-time drivers under 20?
I'm a first-time driver and I didn't realize how expensive car insurance is. Are there any insurance companies that are cheaper for new drivers?

“Unfortunately, car insurance for young drivers is universally expensive. That being said, Progressive and GEICO typically offer cheaper rates for first-time drivers.
There are several factors at play in determining your rates, including where you live, what kind of car you drive, your driving record, and the amount of coverage you’re looking for. But your age stands out—drivers under 25 are statistically more likely to get into accidents and file claims.
There are ways for you to lower your premium until you gain more driving experience. You can take a defensive driving course or show proof of good grades to qualify for discounts.”

How do my medical bills get paid when I'm in a not-at-fault auto accident?
"I have medical payments coverage for $10,000. My car insurance company is saying they can send me the check to pay my bills, and then my health insurance will pay the rest. My health insurance is telling me to have my auto insurance pay the hospital directly, and then they'll pay what's left. Does it matter what I do?
