How do I delete a Bluetooth device from a Ford Ranger?
I have a new Ford Ranger with a SYNC system, but I’m lending it to my brother for the winter. I’m getting everything cleared out for him and thought I should delete my phone from Bluetooth. How do I do that?

Ford Ranger
, open the SYNC touch screen and follow these steps:- Press the “Phone” tab on the bottom menu
- Select “Phone List” on the next screen
- Tap on the name of your phone
- Tap the trash can icon to delete your device from the list
- Confirm by tapping “Yes”
Your phone should now no longer appear in your Ranger’s Bluetooth.
These exact steps may vary slightly depending on what year of Ranger you have and what version of SYNC is installed. You can reference your owner’s manual for more details!
