I've got a six-month-old DUI on my driving record and it's making it hard to find cheap car insurance. Where can I find insurance that's actually affordable in Florida?

You may be able to find cheaper car insurance by shopping around, but it won’t necessarily be cheap. DUIs tend to increase insurance rates more than any other traffic violation.
You have to get a quote from multiple insurance companies to make sure you’re paying the lowest price possible.
You can reach out to the big-name companies like GEICO, Progressive, State Farm, USAA, and Allstate. They all insure drivers who need an FR44, which is a form that offers proof of insurance to the state after a DUI in Florida.
You should also reach out to smaller regional car insurance providers. They may be able to offer you reasonable rates.

Why is my car insurance so expensive on my new vehicle?
I recently purchased a new Kia Sportage with a loan. Due to the high cost, my boyfriend offered to add me to his insurance. Our insurance is still $300 a month and it's not dropping. What can we do?

What happens if the damage caused in a car accident is more than my policy covers?
I got in an accident (my fault) and totaled my car. The other car might be totaled, too. The problem is, I have a $10,000 property damage limit and the other car is probably worth $20,000 or more. Will I owe them if the damage is more than my insurance pays?
