How do you connect Bluetooth in a 2011 Ford Fusion?
I’m a new driver and just bought my first car: a 2011 Ford Fusion! I’m used to driving my family’s (much newer) cars, so I’m having some trouble with the older tech. How do you connect to Bluetooth in a 2011 Ford Fusion?

Ford Fusion
:- Go to the Bluetooth menu on your smartphone and make sure you have it turned on.
- Press the PHONE button on your center dashboard.
- Use the arrow buttons to cycle through the options and select add a Bluetooth device.
- Press OK and wait for a four-digit PIN to pop up on your screen.
- Go back to the Bluetooth menu on your phone and select SETTINGS.
- Select SYNC.
- Enter the PIN to connect your smartphone to your car.
- Choose YES on the confirmation screen.
As long as you’ve followed these steps correctly, you’ll be able to make and receive hands-free phone calls while driving and use your car’s digital display to access your contacts. However, because the 2011 Ford Fusion is an older vehicle with older technology, you can’t wirelessly stream music.
If you want to listen to music while driving, simply purchase an auxiliary cable and plug it into your vehicle’s aux port. Keep in mind that you’ll still have to control your music from your phone—so make sure you choose your playlist before you hit the road in order to prevent the dangers of
distracted driving
