Once that’s all settled, you’ll hit the road in your quest to be in the presence of the world’s largest hairball, which calls the Finney County Historical Museum home. Now, said hairball was about 40 inches wide and weighed about 55 pounds wet when it was removed from the stomach of a cow that was processed at a nearby packing house (apologies for the uncomfortable visual, but facts are facts!). It now sits in a brass spittoon. Visitors are allowed to touch the hairball, but the Museum asks that you not pick it up—and why would you?
