How can I report someone driving without car insurance?

My coworker has been driving without insurance. I've ridden in the car with him before and they are a terrible driver. I'm worried they're going to seriously injure someone. How can I report them for driving without insurance?

“Your worries are valid.
Driving uninsured
is very dangerous and can seriously injure someone. If talking to your coworker about their insurance hasn’t changed his mind, you can report him as an uninsured driver.
While
police catch uninsured drivers
and you could report your coworker, law enforcement might not be able to do anything. In most cases, you’re better off contacting the DMV.
The DMV manages car insurance requirements for drivers. Your state likely has a system in place to report uninsured drivers. Call your state’s DMV to find out what the best way to do this is. Most states send out notices when a person has a lapse in insurance. Your co-worker may have already received a fine or their license suspended
If you’d like to try and convince them to get insurance before you report them, suggest
