Does my Allstate insurance or any other insurance cover me when driving in Puerto Rico?

I'm going on a trip to Puerto Rico in a few months. Will Allstate or other insurance companies cover me if I rent a vehicle?

Most car insurance companies, including
Allstate
, cover you on rental cars in the United States and U.S. territories, and possibly even Canada and Mexico. Typically, you receive the same coverage on your rental car that you have on your personal vehicle.
However, you may want to purchase additional insurance, known as a collision damage waiver, from the rental company to cover damages that aren’t covered by liability.
Keep in mind: Many credit cards have benefits that automatically supply a collision damage waiver, so it’s worth checking to see if the card you used to book the rental has this benefit.
