Does Acura make an electric SUV?
I’ve always been a huge fan of Acura and owned several models over the years. However, I really want to upgrade to an electric SUV if it’s possible. Does Acura currently have an electric SUV in its lineup?

Unfortunately, Acura does not currently make an electric SUV, although you can look around the used market for the Acura MDX Sport Hybrid.
However, Acura isn’t lagging too far behind in the all-electric revolution. By 2024, the Japanese automaker plans to release the Acura ZDX—the brand’s very first all-electric SUV. Acura has kept somewhat tight-lipped on this new vehicle, but the concept version has futuristic styling that makes it a unique outlier in the segment.
Some expected features of the Acura ZDX may include:
- Available all-wheel drive
- Up to 500 horsepower courtesy of two electric motors
- Around 300 miles on a single charge
- Eco-friendly textiles and other interior materials
- Signature ELS audio system
