rates, but they’re generally cheaper to maintain compared to conventional cars. They’re not maintenance-free, though—here is the maintenance you’ll need to keep up with.
Every month, you need to:
  • Check tire pressure and examine them for wear
  • Check and fill windshield wiper fluid as needed
Every 7,500 miles:
  • Rotate tires
  • Check battery coolant level
  • Check power steering and driveshafts
  • Check light bulbs and replace as needed
  • Inspect steering, suspension, brakes, and chassis for wear
  • Lubricate door locks and inspect gas struts for wear
  • Check charger modules, power inverter, accessory power, and cabin heater
Every 15,000 miles:
  • Replace blades on windshield wipers
Every 36,000 miles:
  • Replace air filter in cabin
Every 75,000 miles:
  • Drain and service coolant circuits
  • Replace suspension gas struts
