What if you get pulled over in someone else's car?

My car died a few weeks ago, but I’ve been using my roommate’s car every so often to run errands. The only concern I have is that I might get pulled over and I won’t know what to do. What should I do if I get pulled over in someone else’s car?

Borrowing your roommate’s car is a great option, especially if you don’t have a car of your own. However, if you get pulled over in someone else’s car, make sure that you can show your license and proof of car insurance. Without this, you’re liable to get a ticket for lack of car insurance or driving without a license.
If you don’t own a car and don’t have insurance, you should probably consider
non-owner car insurance
. This is a liability-only policy that covers you when you’re behind the wheel of someone else’s car.
Hopefully, you never get pulled over in someone else’s car, but if you do, having a great car insurance policy can ensure you don’t get a ticket for a lack of car insurance. If you don’t have a policy now, let
