Is driving without car insurance illegal in Arizona?

If I buy a used car but don't purchase insurance for it, what are the consequences? I'm looking to get a Ford F-150.

“Like in most states, Arizona requires drivers by law to purchase car insurance.
If you’re caught without it, you could face driver’s license, registration, and license plate suspension for three months, a fine of $500, and the cost of purchasing additional SR22 car insurance for two years.
The fines increase with each subsequent infraction. If price is an obstacle for obtaining car insurance, Jerry can help. Jerry pulls quotes from the top 50 companies and delivers the best deals to your phone in minutes.”
