BMW X5
has a pretty easy-to-open gas tank once you know how to do it. We’ve created an easy step-by-step guide for you to follow below: - Step one: at the rear end of the passenger’s side of the car, you’ll find a rectangular cut-out in the X5’s body. This is the fuel door.
- Step two: push the far side of the fuel door as if it were a button. This will make the fuel door open.
- Step three: to access the gas tank, unscrew the gas cap underneath the fuel door. Now you’re ready to refuel!
The 2009 X5’s range is about 405 miles when it’s running on a full 22.5-gallon tank of gas. Still, you should always refuel before your fuel gauge dips to “E”—ideally when you reach a quarter-tank or so. Think about protecting your daughter from roadside catastrophes with
