How do I play music via Bluetooth in a 2009 Ford Fiesta?

I just snagged a sweet used Ford Fiesta after my Focus was stolen from my garage! I like to have some good tunes while I drive, but this Fiesta is pretty old. How do I play music via Bluetooth in a 2009 Ford Fiesta?

You’ll need to pair your smartphone with the 2009
Ford Fiesta
’s SYNC infotainment system in order to use Bluetooth to play music in the car.
Pairing your smartphone with the 2009 Fiesta’s SYNC system is pretty easy—just follow these steps:
  • In your phone’s settings, make sure “Bluetooth” is ON
  • Press the “AUX” button on your Fiesta’s control panel repeatedly until you see “Bluetooth”
  • On your smartphone, an option for “Ford Audio” should pop up—tap it
  • Your phone and your Ford’s SYNC system will begin to pair
  • Once your phone and the Fiesta are paired, you’ll be able to play music via Bluetooth
