How do you connect Bluetooth to a 2011 Chevy Silverado?
I recently inherited an older Silverado and I think that it has Bluetooth capabilities. I’m excited to try them out! How do you connect Bluetooth to a 2011 Chevy Silverado?

To make calls hands-free in your 2011 Chevy Silverado, here’s how you can connect Bluetooth to your phone:
- Make sure your phone’s Bluetooth is enabled
- Press and hold the center phone button on your Chevy’s digital console until you hear voice commands start speaking
- Say “Bluetooth,” then “Pair”
- Voice commands will give you directions to track down “Your Vehicle” in your phone’s list of pairable devices—it will then give you a four-digit PIN
- On your phone, select “Your Vehicle” and enter the PIN
- Your Silverado will ask you to name your phone
- Once your Chevy confirms the name, your phone is officially paired and ready to make those calls!
Note that you can only pair up to five cell phones to your Silverado’s Bluetooth. Once a phone has been paired, it will automatically connect to your Chevy’s Bluetooth system. If you have multiple paired phones in the vehicle at once, your Chevy will give priority to the phone that was paired first. To change to a different phone, press and hold the phone button, say “Bluetooth,” then “Change phone.”
