How do you delete a phone from Ford's Bluetooth?

I just bought a used Ford Explorer and it looks like the previous owner didn’t delete their phone. How do you delete a phone from Ford's Bluetooth?

To delete a phone from the
Ford
Sync multimedia system, make sure your car is turned on and in park, then open the SETTINGS menu in your infotainment center. Next, navigate to PHONE and use the arrow keys to select the phone you want to delete.
After you find it, simply select DELETE from the menu and hit YES on the confirmation screen. That’s it—by following these instructions, removing an unused phone from Ford’s Bluetooth system should take you less than 30 seconds!
Now that you’ve removed the old driver’s phone, you’re ready to add yours! Just in case you need a little help with that too, here’s how it works: press the PHONE button on your car’s digital display, and select ADD PHONE. Wait for a PIN to display on the screen, then open the Bluetooth menu on your mobile device. Choose SYNC, and enter the PIN. Finally, hit YES on the confirmation screen and wait a few seconds for your phone to connect.
Once you’ve paired your phone, the car will automatically connect to it anytime you turn on your car, and you’ll be able to make phone calls, send texts, use voice activation, or stream music while you drive.
