How to Access Your Insurance ID Card In The Jerry App
You can find your insurance ID card on the home screen of the Jerry app, or in the account tab located on the bottom right corner.
You can easily access your insurance ID card—which acts as
proof of insurance

There are two ways to view your insurance ID card, proof of insurance, and
policy number
in the Jerry
app. 
Option 1: The Home Screen
- Open the Jerry app
- On the home screen, click the box that says “View policy”
- View your insurance ID card, including your policy number
When you open the Jerry app, you’ll see a box on your home screen that says “You’re covered” and “View policy”. You can click on this box, which will take you to your insurance ID card, including your policy number.
Option 2: The Account Tab
- Open the Jerry app
- Click on the account tab, located at the bottom right corner of the app
- Your policies will appear—select the applicable active policy to view your details and insurance card.

When you’ll need to access your insurance ID card in the Jerry app
In nearly every state, you are required to carry proof of insurance in your vehicle at all times. Some common reasons you may need your policy number include:
Roadside membership: Access your
roadside assistance
documents to see your proof of your coverage and view your roadside service history.Expense receipts: Upload photos and files to keep track of your expense receipts in one place.
Service receipts: View your maintenance and repair receipts.
Loan document: Review your loan documents and upload your payment receipts.

Along with your insurance ID card, the Jerry app also offers access to the following:

Can I file a claim through the Jerry app?
You can’t directly file a claim through the Jerry app, but you can gain access to your provider’s applicable phone number through the app and launch a call to connect with an insurance agent for claims handling.
Where can I find my coverage details in the Jerry app?
You can find your coverage details by selecting “View policy” on the Jerry app home screen. Through there, you’ll be able to view your insurance ID card and your coverage information.
Do I need to have a policy through Jerry to view my insurance ID card?
You do not need to purchase a car insurance policy through Jerry in order to store your insurance ID card in the app. You can add your insurance card to your driver profile, and it will serve as valid proof of insurance in case of an emergency.
Can I have two policies in the Jerry app?
Yes, you can have more than one car insurance policy in the Jerry app, and you can access insurance documents for both policies as well.
