Can an electric car travel out of state?

I recently purchased a Tesla. I’m super excited and would love to drive back to my hometown to show it off. I live out of state right now, so I’d have to travel about eight hours into another state. Can my electric car travel out of state?

Congratulations on the
Tesla
. While traveling by electric car may require additional planning, you can definitely travel out of state with one.
Electric cars are great to travel with since you can save money by avoiding gas stations. That said, you will have to plan out your route to ensure you don’t run out of charge while on the road. Since you have a Tesla, you’re in luck!
Teslas have a trip planner built into their user interface, which shows you where charging stations are. You also have the option of looking for Supercharger stations, which can give you 200 miles of drive time in 15 minutes.
This is a huge benefit as you’ll easily be able to travel out of state without having to stop repeatedly or for long periods of time.
Since you’re planning to travel out of state with your new car, make sure you have the best
