How do you open a Mazda Tribute gas tank?

My boyfriend let me borrow his car but I’m too embarrassed to ask how to fill up the tank. Where is the gas lever for a Mazda Tribute?

No need to feel embarrassed, we’ve all been there! To open a
Mazda Tribute
gas tank, you’ll need to press inward on the fuel door on the exterior of your vehicle.
Make sure that all of your doors are unlocked when you do this, as you won’t be able to open your car’s fuel door if any of the doors are still locked. This is a safety mechanism put into place to protect your gas tank while your car is unattended.
When you press inward on the fuel door, it should spring open, revealing the vehicle’s gas cap. Unscrew your gas cap by turning it counterclockwise until it comes free from your vehicle. If your gas cap is stuck, try wiggling it slightly to make it straight.
If you can’t get your fuel door or your gas cap to open, however, it’s time to talk to a mechanic about the problem. This could indicate an issue with the spring mechanism in your boyfriend’s fuel tank door, or it could be a result of an improperly placed gas cap. Regardless, try to take a trip to the mechanic before your car runs out of gas!
