! What is Tesla Camp Mode?
Tesla Camp Mode makes camping more comfortable by maintaining the ideal temperature and airflow inside the car’s cabin. This temperature is adjustable so you can set it however you want.
With Camp Mode, you will also be able to maintain your lighting setup and continue to play music. You can control your music via the touchscreen, which allows you to do the following:
Watch shows in Tesla Theater if you have Premium Connectivity or WiFi
And there’s more! Tesla Camp Mode powers your low voltage outlet and USB ports, so you can charge your phone, tablets, or whatever you want. This is especially helpful if you’re camping with your kids and they like to watch some TV before bed.
Once you turn on Camp Mode (more on this later), Sentry Mode and the vehicle alarm system will be disabled, as will the auto lock. It’s important to remember to manually lock your car before you go to sleep. Also, you can turn back on Sentry Mode once Camp Mode has been activated, if you want.
