Lucid and Bank of America join forces

Lucid’s new digital commerce platform has been named Lucid Financial Services, according to
Electrek’s
coverage of a new partnership with Bank of America. Both Lucid and Bank of America have joined together to allow customers looking to purchase the Lucid Air to complete their purchase completely virtually. The deal allows customers to apply for financial services and even sign their contracts through their phone or computer.

What does the Lucid purchasing process look like?

If you’re interested in purchasing or leasing a Lucid, they offer 24-, 36-, and 48-month leases, and purchase loans that depend on your credit score and financial situation. The great thing is that some of the stress that can manifest from visiting the dealership in person to apply might be eliminated.
Besides, shopping online for a car seems to be a trend that many people are keen to continue. Just keep in mind—new vehicles, especially EVs like Lucid’s, are experiencing
higher-than-usual prices
. A smart tactic may be to wait until you can find a used Lucid, even if it means waiting for a couple of years.

Is it a good idea to buy a Lucid?

This depends on if you’re willing to pay an increased price for your EV. The Lucid Air EV has received glowing reviews thus far, though, even with a few recalls holding it back.
The Lucid Air comes in a Touring and Pure trim option and has a starting price of $87,400, which is by no means cheap. But then again, the Lucid Air has been one of the few vehicles to achieve a 500-plus mile battery range, beating Tesla.
