Honda Motor Company is rolling out a transition of EV production with a vision to do away with the petrol motors by 2040 completely.
Honda
plans to invest generously in building its electrification architecture and exploring growth opportunities in space exploration and avatar robots.
The Japanese automaker is partnering with General Motors to produce affordable compact
electric vehicles
using the GM Ultium EV platform for their manufacturing abilities. Also, the collaboration is to leverage strengths in other advanced technology projects with strategies to deliver affordable EVs globally.
Jerry
has all the details on how Honda plans to deliver the new electric vehicles.

What is Honda's strategy toward an electric future?

Honda's massive investment in the electric vehicle research and development program is a foundation for future dominance towards global electrification.
The program focuses on an investment set to launch 30 EV models by 2030, with major markets in North America, South America, and China.
The plan also projects a high-profile launch of 2 new mid-size EV models specifically for the American market.
The pictures of the electric SUVs show a long bonnet sports car and a mid-engine supercar. These sports models will be high-performance with new battery technologies and solid-state capabilities.

Honda partners with GM to build Honda Prologue and electric Acura

The new sports models are the
Prologue SUV
, a specialty model, and the electric Acura SUV, a flagship model. These cars will use the GM Ultium Lithium-ion batteries and will arrive in 2024 to mark Honda as a brand among the electric vehicle automakers.
The Acura SUV is likely the electric successor of the New Sports eXpress and will wear an Acura badge. Its marketing strategy will be performance-focused to fit the increasingly competitive market.
The untitled Acura may have the nameplate ADX, which will be a trademark to Honda.
The Prologue SUV will be the first battery-electric vehicle produced by Honda and is expected to be an all-wheel-drive with high profile interiors and exteriors to suit buyers' expectations and drivers' needs.
The Honda Prologue is expected to cost $45,000 and should be an extraordinary machine to fit the market strategy.

The specs of the Honda Prologue and the Acura SUV

The Honda sports models will mark a new technological era of electrification possibilities. The
electric SUVs
will have a dual-motor AWD ranging up to 300 miles. With automatic transmissions, the electric motor engines will produce torque power of 315 Nm, and the EV battery capacity will be 35.5kWh.
The electric hatchback has automatic LED headlights, a panorama glass roof, privacy glass, rear wiper, which gives it a desirable visual view.
Also, the meter illumination, light fabric interior panels, ambient light in the roof trunk, light rear air vents, climate control air conditioning, adjustable seats, and leather steering wheel make it truly incredible.
The presence of an emergency call system, intelligent speed limiter, electric power steering wheel, traffic sign recognition, rearview camera, and front and rear parking sensors make the car more convenient for drivers.
The vehicle's safety gives no doubt. It has an airbag for both the driver and passengers, seat belts, a regenerative braking system, and a low-speed safety system.
Also, as the ride goes on, your boredom is kept at bay with dual-screens, an HDMI socket, USB sockets, and the power audio systems.
