The Chevrolet Spark has a range of 82 miles on a single charge thanks to its 19kWh lithium-ion battery. It’s even speedy for its size—carrying a 140-hp105-kilowatt electric motor that can go 0 to 60 in just 7.5 seconds!
Available in two trims, the 1LT and 2LT are unchanged motor-wise and reach the same 82-mile range. The difference lies in their interior and features. In the 2LT, you’ll find a leather-wrapped steering wheel that levels up the driving experience, as well as keyless start and rear parking assist. Besides that, both trims are pretty much the same!
So, what can you do with 82 miles of range? The average American commutes 16 miles to work. This means a single charge can get you through half a work week before having to recharge. While a weekly recharge—and a long one at that (which we’ll get to later)—seems tedious, it’s a decent trade-off instead of paying a ridiculous amount for gas.
