What type of oil does the 2003 Nissan Frontier need?

I have a Nissan Frontier from 2003 sitting in my parents' garage, and my dad is helping me fix it up so I can use it. He asked me to buy some oil for it, but I’m not sure what to get. What type of oil should I buy?

That sounds like a great project—and a great way to learn more about your car before you start driving it. The 2003
Nissan Frontier
requires 5W-30 grade synthetic motor oil in order to function properly.
Sometimes, it can be difficult to find the right type of oil. Other times, it’s hard to know whether or not you’re making the right choice for your car. If you run into any questions while buying oil for your Nissan, it’s important to ask for help from a store employee, your dad, or someone else who knows their stuff. Using the wrong oil can seriously damage your engine, so finding the right type of oil is super important!
