What happens if you don't carry a car insurance card in Utah?

What are the consequences for not having my proof of insurance in Utah? I lost my proof of insurance card and am worried about the consequences if I get pulled over.

“Since car insurance is a legal requirement in most states, there can be hefty consequences for not carrying proof of insurance, including fines and citations.
In many municipalities, you can get the ticket voided or discounted by showing that you had car insurance during the citation.
Carrying proof of insurance is much easier than dealing with the hassle of not having proof on you.
If you’ve lost your proof of insurance, you have options:
  • Ask your insurer to issue a new card
  • Print the information yourself
  • Carry a digital copy”
