What can I do if a towing company from my insurance provider damaged the bumper of my Civic?

"I needed a tow, so I called my insurance company's roadside assistance hotline. They got the truck on the flatbed and took it to my repair shop of choice.

I got a ride from my dad and showed up just as the tow truck was pulling in. That's when I noticed significant damage to the bumper of my Civic. I pointed it out to the driver and he admitted fault.

After talking to the towing company, they said they'd take care of it, but it's been 72 hours since I've heard anything.

What do I do now?"

“You keep calling the towing company until you get answers. Some companies will practice aversion tactics until you give up. Don’t let them do this to you.
Even if it takes calling them two, three, or four times a day, you need answers. In addition, you should call your
car insurance
company to see if they’re willing to do something about it. Because the towing company is one of their contractors, they should have an inside track on how to fix the situation.
Hopefully, this will resolve your situation, even if you have to file a claim with your insurance company.”
