How do you open the gas tank on a Toyota Highlander from 2007?

My aunt gave me her old Toyota Highlander to celebrate my college graduation. I love it, but I can’t figure out how to access the fuel tank. Can you tell me how to open the gas tank on a Toyota Highlander from 2007?

It may not be the most advanced SUV out there, but a used car still makes for a pretty great gift. The fuel tank release isn’t that advanced either, but it can be a little tucked away. To open the gas tank on a
Toyota Highlander
from 2007 you’ll need to pull a fuel tank release lever at the foot of the driver seat.
The 2007 Highlander’s fuel tank release lever is located on the left side of the driver’s seat floor, fairly close to the base of the seat itself. Just ** pull up that lever** and you should hear the pop of the fuel tank door unlocking so you can fill up.
Don’t forget to screw in the gas cap and close the fuel tank door when you’re done!
Figuring out how to fill up your 2007 Toyota Highlander is just one step in learning the ins and outs of your new-to-you SUV. While this skill won’t help you

, learning how to properly maintain your car or shop for
