How many 70th anniversary Jeeps were made?
I’ve been trying to find a 70th-anniversary Jeep for sale, but it’s proving to be harder than I originally thought. Now I’m wondering how many 70th anniversary Jeeps were made in total?

The automaker Jeep celebrated its 70th anniversary in 2011 with special edition releases of five popular models. That includes the:
- Jeep Compass
- Jeep Grand Cherokee
- Jeep Liberty
- Jeep Patriot
- Jeep Wrangler
- *It’s hard to say exactly how many of each were made**, as production was limited to five months between May and October of 2011.
What we can say is only 503 Patriot models were released with a two-door configuration, and similar numbers were produced of its four-door counterpart. It’s reasonable to assume that a similar number of units were produced for each model, keeping special edition versions of these classic Jeep vehicles relatively rare.
For its 70th anniversary, these fan-favorite Jeeps received special makeovers including dark leather seating with an embossed Jeep logo, special floor and cargo mats, and a 70th-anniversary badge. Each 70th anniversary Jeep also received upgraded wheels, and uniquely designed instrument clusters and overlays.
