Since taking a new job in a small town, I’ve decided to buy a pickup truck. This is quite a change for a former city girl! Now, I’m trying to decide what size truck to buy. How long is a standard truck bed?

Congratulations on your new job! A standard truck bed is around six and a half feet long as you can see from this chart:
