The 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning only has the option for a 5.5-foot trunk bed. Let’s go over all its dimensions:

- Bed width: 50.6 inches
- Bed depth: 21.4 inches
- Total cargo volume: 52.8 cubic feet
Owners will also have the option to use the 14.1 cubic feet of lockable storage in the front trunk, which some call a frunk…but we will not be doing that.
The F-150 Lightning with a standard battery has a payload of up to 2,000 pounds. This includes up to 400 pounds in the front truck. The F-150 Lightning with an extended-range battery has a payload of up to 1,800 pounds.
