only comes with a 5.5-foot truck bed. It’s 67 inches long and 21.4 inches tall, and it can fit up to 52.8 cubic feet of cargo (even though you can also use 14.1 cubic feet of front truck space). The Ford Lightning is the first all-electric pickup truck in the venerated F-series. It offers the ruggedly classic Ford aesthetic. It comes with a slew of impressive features like the Ford intelligent backup power, pro power onboard, BlueCruise, and an accessible infotainment system with a 15.5-inch portrait touchscreen.

2022 FordLightning truck bed dimensions
The 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning only has the option for a 5.5-foot trunk bed. Let’s go over all its dimensions:
- Bed length: 67.1 inches
- Bed width: 50.6 inches
- Bed depth: 21.4 inches
- Total cargo volume: 52.8 cubic feet
Owners will also have the option to use the 14.1 cubic feet of lockable storage in the front trunk, which some call a frunk…but we will not be doing that.
The F-150 Lightning with a standard battery has a payload of up to 2,000 pounds. This includes up to 400 pounds in the front truck. The F-150 Lightning with an extended-range battery has a payload of up to 1,800 pounds.
