The 2022 Colorado keeps things relatively simple with just two available bed length options. The Extended Cab comes with a long box (6-foot-2-inch bed), while the Crew Cab can be equipped with either the long box or a short box (5-foot-2-inch bed).
But how much do the long box and short box actually differ? Let’s take a closer look at the dimensions for the long box first:

And here’s the dimension for a Crew Cab with a short box:
- Bed length: 61.7 inches

Please note that since the Colorado doesn’t have a traditional trunk, cargo volume is based on the truck’s bed length.
