How long is a Honda warranty?

I bought my Honda Accord a couple of years ago and am experiencing some issues with the transmission. I still need to get it checked out by a mechanic, but I’m wondering if it’ll fall under my warranty—or if it’s too late.

Sorry to hear your car is having troubles—let’s see how we can help.
How long a
Honda
warranty lasts depends on the type(s) of warranty you have. All new Honda vehicles come with a 3-Year/36,000-mile limited warranty and a 5-Year/60,000 powertrain limited warranty.
That means that if your car has some defective parts that are malfunctioning, they will likely be covered under Honda’s limited warranty as long as you haven’t hit the 36,000-mile limit for the limited warranty.
You should also check with your dealer to verify if you purchased any other optional warranties with Honda, like their Accessory Limited Warranty or Replacement Parts Limited Warranty.
