I was in an accident recently and damaged my car. My rates are already high, so I'd like to avoid submitting a claim. How do I get my car fixed without insurance?

If you need to get your car fixed without using your
car insurance
, don’t inform your car insurance company of the damage or accident. 
You can go directly to a repair shop to fix your car.  
To find a shop, look at reviews or ask friends and family where they go. Remember, it’s worth getting
quotes from different repair shops
 to see how much repairs will be. Just like shopping around for car insurance, every company will offer a different price.
If you find a price and shop you like, you can have them complete the work and pay for the service yourself out-of-pocket instead of
filing a claim
