How do I remove my windshield wipers on my Toyota Camry?

I need to remove my windshield wipers, and I don't want to pay for a mechanic. How do I do it myself?

You can absolutely remove your wipers from home. If you feel at all concerned that you might not be doing it properly, though, don’t hesitate to
take your car in
 for professional repairs.
Here’s how to do it yourself:
  • Take off the 14mm nuts on the wiper arms
  • Take off the arms themselves
  • Use a metal trim stick to take off the rubber seal fasteners
  • Take off the plastic rivets on the left side metal panel
  • Take off the five 10mm bolts that are around the outside of the wiper motor
  • Take off the assembly from your car
