How do I open the gas tank of a 2018 Chrysler 300?

I recently bought a used car. It’s time for my first fill-up, but I can’t find the fuel door release button. How do you open the fuel door on a 2018 Chrysler 300?

Congrats on your new-to-you car! To open the gas tank of your 2018 Chrysler 300, just follow these steps:

Open the driver’s side door
Find the fuel release button on the bottom left side of the driver’s door (look for the button featuring a gas tank graphic)
Push the button

Once you press the button, you’ll see the fuel door pop open on the back end of the driver’s side of the car.

Your full-size sedan gets about 21 mpg combined, which is about average for a car of its size. However, Chrysler doesn’t have any special recommendations for fuel. That means that while you may not have the most fuel-efficient car, at least you don’t have to drop extra bucks on high-priced premium fuel!
