How do I help a dog with car anxiety?
How can I help my dog with her car anxiety? I have a labradoodle and she's super anxious about riding in the car. I really want to take her on road trips, but I don't want to make her uncomfortable! How can I help her?

It’s great that you want to help your dog! Your pup could be experiencing motion sickness, and that may make her really uncomfortable when she rides in the car. The first thing you’ll want to do is take her to the vet.
At the vet, get her a formal diagnosis and treatment. That way you can make sure she has the things she needs before you head out on any
road trips
.In the meantime, there are a few things you can do to make her more comfortable:
- Keep the car cool.
- Open the windows for fresh air.
- Take your pup on a walk and to the bathroom 10-15 minutes before your trip.
- Use dog-safe CBD or anxiety treats to calm her down.
