How do I connect Bluetooth with a Chevy Colorado?

I usually drive my truck around town and just listen to the radio, but I’m taking the truck on a remote camping trip and I want to use Bluetooth. How do I connect Bluetooth with a Chevy Colorado?

To connect Bluetooth with a
Chevy Colorado
, put your phone in pairing mode and use the MyLink menu.
Start by putting your vehicle into Park. Now, tap the phone icon on your Colorado’s touchscreen. There will be an option to pair or add a new device.
Put your phone into Bluetooth pairing mode. Your truck should appear in the list of available connections, and you can tap to connect. Confirm that the codes on both screens match and then tap Pair.
You can either agree or disagree to the option for downloading your contacts to the truck’s system. You must agree if you want to be able to call someone by saying their name.
Another option is to complete the pairing process using the voice recognition system. Press the “push to talk” button and say “pair phone.” Follow the instructions to pair your device.
If you drive an older Chevy Colorado that doesn’t have Bluetooth, it’s not difficult to
add a Bluetooth adapter to an older car
.
Hope this helps!
