Moving can be a hectic time, it is great that you are staying on top of your insurance! You can change your address on your
car insurance
policy by either:- Calling your agent directly, or
- Logging into your providers’ account and updating your new address there
Keep in mind that a change in your address may also affect your car insurance rates. Car insurance rates are calculated based on your location. If your commute to and from work has gotten longer or you have a higher estimated annual mileage, this can also increase your rates.
If your rates increase, don’t worry! Have your agent review your policy for the following applicable discounts:

- Telematics discounts
- Alumni association discounts
- Professional organization discounts
- Low mileage savings
