How can I get a copy of my car’s registration in Hawaii?

I was cleaning out my car the other day (and throwing out the mountains of trash my children leave behind) and realized I didn’t have my car registration in the glove compartment. I live in Hawaii and was wondering how I could get a new copy of my registration?

Mistakes happen! Luckily, replacing a lost registration card in
Hawaii
is simple and can be done by mail or in person.
Each county has its own agency for handling registration requests but you will just need to provide some basic information like your Vehicle ID Number (VIN) and pay a small fee of $5 or $10.
Since you’re already reviewing your vehicle’s registration, it may be a good time to give your
declaration page
a look through as well. Make sure you’re not overpaying by using an app like
