Does a Lexus warranty cover the windshield?
I want to get a firmer grasp of what the Lexus warranty covers when you buy a new car. While I understand some of it, I’m not sure if it covers less vital components. Is a windshield covered under the Lexus warranty?

It’s great that you’re doing more research! Unfortunately, the Lexus warranty does not cover the windshield in most cases, as any damage to the windshield is typically chalked up to general wear and tear. However, the Lexus warranty may cover the windshield — but only if it’s damaged as a result of a manufacturer defect or poor craftsmanship.
While you can still purchase an extended warranty, the best way to protect your windshield is by adding glass coverage to your car insurance or creating a savings account to pay for future repairs. Either way, you can start your savings by comparing
