I just managed to get my driving record cleaned up—then, I got a parking ticket! I’m so frustrated right now. Does a city ordinance go on your driving record?

That would be frustrating! However, you can breathe a sigh of relief because city ordinances like parking tickets do not show up on your driving record.
Here are a few other city ordinances that you don’t have to worry about messing up your clean driving record:
  • Red light camera tickets: Although you’ll have to pay a fine, the citation will not be added to your record.
  • Parking tickets: Again, you’ll have to pay a fine but your record won’t take a hit.
  • Speeding camera tickets: Because the ticket is issued from camera evidence, this citation won’t show up on your record.
