Do all credit cards offer rental car insurance?

I have a few different credit cards. Does every card offer rental car insurance? I'm going to be renting a car and I'm not sure what card to use.

Rental car insurance is a popular credit card benefit, but not every company or card offers it. Some popular cards that provide rental car insurance include:
  • Chase Sapphire Preferred
  • Chase Freedom/Chase Freedom Unlimited
  • United Explorer Card
  • American Express, if enrolled in Premium Car Rental Protection ($12.25 to $24.95 for rentals up to 42 days)
For coverage to apply, they normally require you to decline the rental car company’s collision damage waiver and pay for the total cost of rental car with your credit card.
With collision coverage and theft coverage, your credit card would cover any damage or theft that may occur while you are in possession of the rental vehicle.
To find out which of your cards offer rental car coverage, you’ll want to read over your card’s benefits and terms and conditions. You can also reach out to the card’s customer service or member service department.”
