Are TPMS sensors covered under the warranty from Honda?

I was driving the other day in my Honda and the TPMS sensor went off. After filling the tire, the dashboard light remained on. I’m not sure what’s going on with it, but I want to know if it’s covered under the warranty.

Unfortunately, knowing whether your tire or the tire pressure monitoring system is at fault is the crux of the problem. If you’re within the 3-year, 36,000-mile
Honda
warranty and it’s the fault of the manufacturer, you’re likely covered.
However, debris hitting the system or getting into even a slight fender bender may make the manufacturer deem it wear and tear. The only way to tell is by taking your car to the dealer and finding the source of the problem.
