Where is the spare tire on a 2006 Toyota Sienna?
The left front tire on my 2006 Sienna is completely shot! It popped just a few dozen feet from my house so I was at least able to pull into the driveway. Now, I need to get the spare on to take it in to get a new tire—but I can’t find it anywhere!

Sorry to hear about the blown tire! You’re not crazy—the process for getting the spare out of your 2006 Toyota Sienna is a bit involved. The spare tire on a 2006 Toyota Sienna lives hidden in the floor behind the front passenger seat—but getting it out takes some knowledge.
- Locate the wrench in your Sienna’s trunk. You’ll find it with the other fix-it tools in a panel by the passenger side of the liftgate—quite literally a cubby in the wall in the trunk.
- Go behind the front passenger seat in your Sienna. On the floor, under a small flap in the carpet, you’ll find a bolt.
- Use the wrench to unscrew the bolt—as you unscrew, your spare tire will (somewhat magically) loosen and drop down underneath your car.
Be sure to save the bolt so that you can secure a spare tire under your Sienna once you no longer need it!
