Where is the Porsche 911 made?

I’ve ridden in a few Porsches in my time and I’m embarrassed to admit I have no idea where they’re made. Can you get me up to speed? Where is the Porsche 911 manufactured?

It sounds like you keep great company! The Porsche 911 is made in Zuffenhausen—a district of Stuttgart, Germany.
The 911, 718, Cayman, and 718 Boxster are all made exclusively in Zuffenhausen, Porsche’s high-tech engine hub where the company also manufactures powertrains. Porsche has called the Zuffenhausen plant home since 1938, operating solely out of this location for 70 years before establishing a second production plant in Leipzig in 2000.
