Across the brand’s 31 production assemblies in 15 different countries, the BMW 2-Series has been made in several locations around the globe. Currently, new BMW 2-Series vehicles are made in the San Luis Potosi factory in Mexico. The first generation of the 2 Series, known as F22 and F23, was produced in the Leipzig, Germany factory until 2021.
